Domodedovo Catering Service - in-flight catering service provider at Moscow International Airport Domodedovo is preparing for the 2009 spring-summer season.
On March 1 st 2009 a specially created committee, including members of the top-management team of the airport were the first to try out and evaluate the new menu, created for partner-airlines of Domodedovo. Each course was tasted and rated on a 10-point evaluation scale.
The new assortment was prepared regarding new catering trends, the requests of partner-airlines and the desire to present a balanced and nutritious menu to the passengers. The new offer includes a variety of sauces, beans, vegetarian and lenten dishes, puddings with vegetable fillings and cakes etc.
The taste – test on March 1 st were organized after a series of internal presentations during which the specialties of the chief-cook were evaluated, and issues, concerning technological optimization of production processes and cost saving for clients were discussed. The courses that got the least points will not be offered to airlines.
The next step in the client logistics system of Domodedovo Catering Service will be the presentation of the new menu to airlines.
